There are thousands of causes and effects of stress that can affect us. However, life experience and individual emotional makeup will greatly shape the way stress affects you. Generally, when life demands of you more than you are able to cope with you will experience some form of stress. Sometimes, it may be what you need to get yourself through a situation. For example, to give you the motivation you need to prepare and deliver a presentation. In other situations, and when it endures for a longer period, stress can be detrimental to your health. I use a range of tools to work with clients experiencing the negative effects of stress.
Breathing and
relaxation techniques Breathing and relaxation techniques If you who want immediate relief from stress or want a program to help you through a limited period of increased pressure I can see you for a single session to teach you some breathing and relaxation techniques which you can use daily or as needed. In addition, you may wish to have head massage therapy either regularly or on an ad hoc basis If you would like more information please contact me Cost of single sessions for breathing and relaxation techniques is £100 for a 110 minute session If you want a longer term solution, or a program to help you get through a stressful period, I offer a series of six sessions which includes life coaching and hypnotherapy as well as teaching the breathing and relaxation techniques described above. Our sessions may also include head massage therapy if you wish to include it in the program. At the beginning of each program I would discuss with you your individual needs and preferences for conducting the program. Life coaching is an invaluable tool for discovering the causes of stress and helps to identify the lifestyle choices you may want to make to minimise the root cause of stress. In this context hypnotherapy can have many applications. It can be used analytically to help you understand your underlying motivations towards particular behaviour patterns or to understand experiences in your life that have given you the feelings of limitation. Hypnotherapy can also be used to ease you into new ways of behaviour that you want. Thirdly, we can use it to instil a feeling of calm and relaxation. head massage therapy is a great way to the end the session for immediate relief from stress. If you decide to combine two or more services within a session, for example life coaching and head massage therapy, the session will last longer than 50 minutes. In this case, you can choose to take part of another session to account for the extra time needed or to pay separately for the additional time used. |
